Full disclosure before you read: DigiERP is our own product, built by Digilite Informatics. We have put it first because we believe in it — but the rest of this list is made up of real, established systems, described at category level, and we have not invented a single name or a single statistic to pad it out. Judge every entry here, ours included, against your own process.
This is the long version: one hundred ERP and ERP-adjacent systems an Indian buyer could realistically evaluate, in one place. Every name here is a real product. Where we could not stand behind an entry, we left it out rather than pad the count — which is why the last section is honest about including adjacent systems (HR, CRM, inventory, POS) that buyers routinely compare against a full ERP.
Treat this as a directory, not a leaderboard. No one buys the hundredth-best ERP; you buy the one that fits your process, your budget and your industry. Use the groupings to narrow to five, then use the questions at the end to get to one.

Why we put DigiERP first
- Every module included rather than sold piece by piece.
- Unlimited users, one annual AMC per institution — not per student, not per user. Budget friendly for colleges and universities, because growing your intake does not grow your bill.
- Built and implemented by the same team in Indore — no reseller layer between you and the people who wrote the code.
- Fee handling designed for the awkward cases — mid-term concessions, instalment changes, scholarships arriving late, refunds on withdrawal.
- Full data export and handover whenever you want it.

How to judge any system on this list yourself
Feature lists are near-identical across ERP vendors, so they tell you almost nothing. These six questions separate them quickly:
- Who does the implementation — the vendor, or a reseller? Someone has to sit with your staff and import your records. Find out now who that is.
- How is it priced? Per-user and per-student licensing charges you for growing and for letting your own people into the system.
- Show me the awkward cases. A mid-term concession, a refund on withdrawal, a scholarship that lands after the receipt. Ask for the actual screens, not a slide.
- What happens on your busiest week? Admission fortnight or financial year-end, not a quiet demo afternoon.
- Will the people who enter data actually use it? If the fee clerk needs a manual, your reports will always be a week stale.
- How do I get my data out if I leave? A vague answer is the answer.
Why this list stops at 100 — and why that number is arbitrary
You will find articles claiming to rank the top 200 or top 500 ERP systems. Past a point those lists are padding, and some of them contain vendors that no longer trade. We stopped at a hundred because that is roughly where real, currently available products in the Indian market run out and invention would have to begin.
It is also worth saying plainly: nobody shortlists from a hundred. In practice an Indian institute or SME ends up comparing three to five systems. The value of a list this long is that it shows you the shape of the market — which categories exist, and which one you belong in — before you narrow down.
Narrowing a hundred down to three
- Pick your category first. Education, Indian SMB, enterprise or open source. This alone removes about eighty entries.
- Filter on industry fit. Process manufacturing, real estate, retail and logistics all have specialists on this list that will beat a generic suite.
- Check the pricing model, not the price. Per-user and per-student licensing costs you more every year you succeed.
- Ask who implements. The best software with a weak implementation partner loses to adequate software implemented properly, every time.
- Then run one real process through the three you are left with.
