Top 10 ERP Software in India for Schools, Colleges and Universities (2026)

Top 10 education ERP software options in India

Ten education ERP systems an Indian school, college or university is realistically choosing between in 2026 — all real products, each described by what it is genuinely built for.

One thing said plainly up front: DigiERP is our own product. We put it first because we believe in it, not because we surveyed the market impartially. Everything else on this page is described as fairly as we can manage, and the comparison points at the end will let you judge all of it for yourself.

The list

1. DigiERP

Built by Digilite Informatics in Indore for schools, colleges and universities. All 18 modules included rather than sold separately, unlimited users, one flat annual AMC quoted per institution, and implemented by the team that writes the code. A university and its affiliated colleges run in one installation with each college’s data kept separate. Contact +91 83498 62321 or contact@digierp.in.

2. Fedena

One of the longest-standing names in Indian school and college management software, with an open-core history and broad module coverage. A reasonable first look for institutes that want something well established.

3. Academia ERP (Serosoft)

Built for higher education rather than schools — universities, autonomous colleges and multi-campus groups with complex programme structures, credit systems and affiliation reporting.

4. MasterSoft

A long-running Indian education software vendor spanning schools through to universities, with a noted presence in accreditation and compliance documentation.

5. Camu

A campus management platform organised around the student lifecycle, with a mobile-first experience for students and faculty.

6. Creatrix Campus

Higher-education focused, with particular emphasis on accreditation workflows and outcome-based education records.

7. Entab CampusCare

Widely used in the K-12 school segment across India, with parent communication as a core strength.

8. Teachmint

A school operating system that grew out of online teaching tools, so the classroom and content side is more developed than the back-office side.

9. Vidyalaya

An Indian school management product with a long track record in the K-12 segment.

10. Classe365

A cloud student management system combining SIS, LMS and CRM functions, aimed at smaller institutions and training providers.

Which one suits which institute

  • School (K-12): parent communication and fee collection dominate the decision.
  • Standalone college: affiliation reporting and examination formats matter more than polish.
  • University with affiliated colleges: ask specifically whether all colleges run in one installation, and what that costs.
  • Budget-constrained institution: the pricing model matters more than the feature list — per institution beats per student every time you grow.

How to judge any of these yourself

Feature lists are useless — they are all true and all identical. These six questions are not:

  • Who does the implementation? The company that built the software, or a reseller? Someone has to import ten years of your records.
  • Show me a concession and a refund. Not a slide — the actual screens. This is where most education ERPs quietly fall apart.
  • Is pricing per user or per student? Both charge you for growing. Ask what the bill looks like in year three.
  • Does it produce my university’s formats? Almost the right format means re-typing every examination cycle.
  • What happens during admission week? It has to survive your busiest fortnight, not a quiet demo.
  • How do I export my data if I leave? A vague answer is the answer.

Start with one real process

Do not start with a demo. Bring this year’s admission list, or last term’s fee register with its concessions and instalments, and ask to see it running. Half an hour of that tells you more than a two-hour presentation. We will do exactly that with DigiERP, on your own data, no obligation.
