- The reporting format is nearly right. Nearly right means manual correction every examination cycle, forever.
- The price moves. Per-student and per-user licensing charges you for growing and for letting your own staff into the system. Ask what the bill looks like in year three, not year one.

- How do we get our data out if we leave? A vague answer is the answer.

Nobody switches on an ERP. The honest sequence is: map how your institution or business actually works before anyone touches a screen; import your student, staff, fee or item masters from wherever they live today; set up your fee heads, concessions and academic structure — or your item masters, godowns and costing; put your own formats on receipts, challans and mark sheets; then train the people who will use it daily.
A school can be running in a few weeks. A university with multiple programmes, affiliation reporting and years of historical records takes longer, and any vendor who tells you otherwise has not looked at your data.
