About DigiLite

DigiLite is built by Digilite Informatics in Indore — one connected system that runs a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, trading or service business from first enquiry to final payment.

DigiLite is a business operating system for the companies that actually make, machine, fabricate, move and service things — built by Digilite Informatics in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

We spend our working days inside small and mid-sized businesses: fabrication sheds, machine shops, assembly units, panel builders, distributors and service teams. The same picture keeps repeating. The work is real, the people are capable, and the information is scattered — enquiries in a WhatsApp thread, rates in somebody’s diary, stock in a spreadsheet that was accurate last Tuesday, and one accounting package that only the accountant opens.

Why we built DigiLite

Most software sold to Indian SMEs falls into one of two traps. Either it is an accounting package with a few extra screens bolted on, which never reaches the shop floor. Or it is a full-scale ERP that takes a year to configure, costs more than the problem, and gets abandoned somewhere around the second month of training.

We wanted a third option: one connected system that follows the business the way it actually runs — from the first enquiry to the money in the bank — with the factory in the middle rather than bolted on the side.

One chain, not twenty-five modules

Everything in DigiLite hangs off a single idea: everything starts with a lead and ends with money.

Lead to enquiry to quotation to sales order to material planning to purchase to production to quality to dispatch to invoice to payment to profitability. Open a customer and you see every quotation, order, delivery, invoice and rupee outstanding against them. Open a sales order and you can walk down to the purchase order, the goods receipt, the work order, the inspection, the dispatch and the payment that closed it.

That end-to-end traceability is the product. Not the module count. You can see the whole chain broken down on our modules page.

Built for how Indian factories really work

Job work sent out to a vendor and half of it coming back. Partial dispatches against one order across three weeks. Customer-supplied material that must never be mixed with your own. Drawing revisions that change what you quoted. GST, HSN summaries and e-way bill references. Material described the way you actually buy it — MS Plate, IS 2062 E250, 8 mm, 1250 x 2500 — not as a single line called “product”.

These are the things generic software makes you work around. We built them in, because they are the business.

How we implement

We implement DigiLite ourselves — no reseller in the middle. That means we map your real process before touching a screen, import your existing item, customer and supplier masters from the spreadsheets you already keep, print quotations, invoices and challans in your formats, and train the people who will use it every day. Storekeepers and supervisors, not just the owner.

Most companies start with the sales chain — CRM, quotations, orders and stock — and switch on production, quality and job work once that is running. Because it is one system, nothing has to be re-entered when the next area goes live. Our three editions exist for exactly this reason: pay for the business you run today, move up without changing systems.

Who we work with

Mechanical and engineering job shops, structural and sheet-metal fabricators, repeat manufacturers and assembly units, CNC and machining shops, traders and distributors, electrical and panel builders, auto component suppliers, and service, installation and AMC businesses. The chain is the same everywhere; the screens, masters and documents are configured to the way each industry runs. See the industries we work with.

Where we are

Digilite Informatics is based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and works with manufacturing and trading businesses across Madhya Pradesh and the rest of India. Being close to the customers we serve matters more in this business than most people admit — implementation is done standing on the shop floor, not over email.

We also build DigiERP, a campus ERP used by colleges and universities. Same team, same philosophy, a different industry.

What we commit to

Your data belongs to you. You can export it at any time, and if you ever leave, you get a full handover — no hostage-taking. We would rather tell you a module is not ready than sell you a demo you will never receive. And we will give you an honest schedule instead of an optimistic one.
